When Christians Play With Fire
We all know that when we play with fire we can get burned; we might even die as a result. But why is it that there are Christians who play with fire?
Bible Verse: James 1:15 (NKJV)
“Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.”
Reflection and Challenge
Disobedience gives birth to death, not life. For a sin to mature may take years; however, when it does, the result will be death. This progression to death is an inevitable result that the enemy (Satan) always tries to hide from us, but we should never be deceived about.
If we would only believe in God’s Word and envision this final tragedy, we would not yield to temptation.
The world is burning. Anyone with half a brain can see that evil is rampant throughout the world and it is totally consuming the world. That is to be expected since the world enjoys their sin. They don’t realize they are hurting themselves and will end up in hell if they don’t repent.
But that is not the real problem. The real problem is lightless and saltless Christians. You’re probably thinking those are not even words. You would be right.
Well, Paul made up words in the New Testament too. So I am in good company. That is why I use them; use them for emphasis. Lightless, saltless Christians are oxymorons. They should not exist. There are too many so-called Christians that live oxymoronic lives.

Nominal and Carnal Christians
Are there such nominal and carnal Christians? It is true that all Christians are still sinners and they will struggle with sin, but I am referring to the completely ineffective “so-called’ Christians that claim God but don’t live the way they should.
People call me judgmental for questioning whether these type of individuals are even born again because the Bible says there will be evidence of salvation (Matthew 7:15-20). As a born again Christian, we are going to live like it. We don’t get to claim to be a follower of God while enjoying our sin.
God saved us to change us into His image. Holier, sinless, righteous and exhibiting a changed life. As much as sin is consuming this world, it will also burn weak Christians. Sin is a choice. We choose to play with fire.
This is a personal matter between you and God though. God does not teach a church or pastor to give us a laundry list of standards. Your personal standard of holiness, that is going to change over time is just that PERSONAL.
Pastors have no business telling you how to live. The Holy Spirit is our only perfect, unbiased guide. All people are biased toward their personal standards. That means we need to be in tune with the Holy Spirit when most aren’t.
Final Thoughts
Satan’s strategy in temptation is to convince believers that the pursuit of their corrupt desires will somehow produce life and goodness for them. So in order to effectively resist the deceptions of temptation, we must always remember that Satan only comes to kill, steal and to destroy (John 10:10).
We all struggle with sin. We all need this reminder occasionally. We all need to talk to God about it. Why not talk to Him now?

The false notion that vaccines are the mark of the beast and the many Christians clinging to the Qanon movement. They cling to a movement that claims to bring unity, when in fact, they are promoting idolatry and a false narrative that nearly costed our democracy.
They are worshipping a man who lies and plots evil while claiming to be children of God. Then, they reserve to fearmongering to discourage others from getting vaccinated, yet they say they are loving their neighbors, and acting in faith.
Do you see how this is putting God to the test? Yet, many are blinded by these lies at the expense of selfish gain. And those same people who lean on these lies participated in an insurrection to ensure that their false prophecies would come true.
Did it work? No! This is how many Christians are deceived by Satan.

We should test the spirits, and search for the truth, and not cling to lies that would satisfy the flesh. This is how Satan is deceiving the masses.

When we look at Acts 5:29 and the life of Daniel and many other verses the Jews were called to be peculiar unto their God by which they became a byword.
First when we look at Acts 5:29, what is our first mandate? To obey the Bible and the Creator and not to follow man’s mandates and witchcraft.
Re: Georgia Guidestones, depopulation of the planet, which we have already seen through the Fake Covid-19 emic if you want to call it that. But what do the Ten Commandments say? “Thou Shalt Not Kill.”
What we have seen from the government is not even close to obeying and fulfilling that, also we take away what is so real in this World, the World of Lucifer and his minions.
To subtract and say that that is just a fable or a lie. Second, look at the life of Daniel and his three friends, they went through great adversity despite standing up for what is right against what is wrong.
Even though their own family and nation did not. And again that sums up that the Jewish people who belonged to “God” or Yahweh were supposed to be different but followed the leaders of their own time to death and to become a byword to the nations around them.
Look it up in a concordance with the word byword and you will see who the byword is referring to. I do not need to emphasize that at all.
Do not be led to believe to follow the leaders or others but the Bible gives us clear instructions if we are willing to do down the right and narrow path that leads to everlasting life.

My name is Maia, and I recently joined this website three weeks ago. Thank you for this gut-wrenching message. I completely agree with you.
As I read your first sentence, the Holy Spirit reminded me of Genesis 3. Since the beginning of time, Satan has enticed man to join in the “fun” of sin, and will omit the consequences of death in the process, even at the expense of your soul! You see this pattern in America today.
Many Christians are yielding to conspiracy theories to gain hope of a brighter future in the face of bloodshed and economic disparity. There is so much division and hatred in our communities because of the crafty plan that Satan is fulfilling before our eyes. Yet, many fail to see this!! We need more people who are willing to expose these clever plots against the light so that we may not ignore his schemes.
Two weeks ago, I saw an article that revealed that less than a quarter of Christians believe in the existence of Satan, yet they claim they believe in the supernatural realm. How does this even make sense to any Christian who longs to walk with CHRIST?!?!?
That’s like saying there is smoke, but no such thing as fire. This is backward! The flames may look glorious to see visually, but do you REALLY want to chance it and get burned, spiritually speaking?
I pray that you will continue to grow in your faith, and share the love of God with others in this dark season. Many will be blinded and deceived and will yield to Satan’s smooth-saying words.

I was curious to know what conspiracy theories do you believe Christians are being deceived by? And why the comment about being vaccinated? It has very little to do with being deceived by Satan.
